We offer expert-led training courses and workshops designed to enhance emotional wellbeing, resilience, and mental health awareness in various settings. Our courses draw upon extensive experience in Mental Health First Aid (MHFA), personal development, emotional wellbeing, and Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND).

All training is delivered in a friendly, supportive environment by qualified professionals and individuals with relevant lived experience. Sessions are available in-person or online, ensuring accessibility and flexibility.

Our Training Courses:

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Training

Virtual

Our nationally and internationally recognised Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training equips participants with the skills to identify early signs of mental health challenges and provide appropriate support. The course is interactive, practical, and suitable for individuals and workplaces looking to enhance mental health awareness and support systems.

Course Options:

  • MHFA 2-Day Training (Certified Level 3) – Gain in-depth knowledge to support individuals experiencing mental health challenges. 

  • MHFA 1-Day Champion Course – Learn how to advocate for mental health in the workplace or community.

  • MHFA ½-Day Awareness Course – A short introductory session on mental health issues and support strategies.

  • MHFA ½ day Managing Mental Health In The Workplace 

  • MHFA ½ day Refresher - The next course will be on 13th March - Online - Book Your Space HERE!

Our MHFA-certified instructors deliver this training following MHFA England standards, ensuring high-quality education and practical application.

Youth Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Training

Virtual

Designed to support young people aged 7-25, this course provides an in-depth understanding of youth mental health conditions, helping adults to recognise, respond, and offer appropriate support. The course covers topics such as depression, anxiety, self-harm, suicide prevention, and eating disorders.

Course Details:

  • 4-session programme

  • Upcoming dates: TBA

  • Time: 9:30 AM - 1:30 PM (includes refreshment breaks)

  • Venue: Online via Zoom (link provided upon booking)

  • Cost: £40 per person (to cover materials & postage)

Resilience & Wellbeing Training
CPD Accredited Course

Virtual

This course equips participants with coping strategies to enhance resilience, stress management, and self-care. It is ideal for individuals and workplaces aiming to foster a healthier mental wellbeing culture.

Aimed at parents and carers, this 4-week programme helps strengthen resilience, enabling them to better navigate the challenges of raising children.

  • Learn techniques to maintain emotional wellbeing

  • Strengthen confidence and resolve

Suicide Prevention & Postvention Workshops

With suicide rates in Essex exceeding the national average, particularly in Tendring and Colchester, our free, fully-funded workshops offer essential training for individuals and workplaces affected by suicide.

Workshop Focus:

  • For Employers: Learn proactive strategies to reduce suicide risk and support employees.

  • For Families & Friends: Guidance on coping with the impact of suicide and safeguarding mental health.

 

Duration: 4-hour sessions

Funding: Fully covered by North East Essex Health & Wellbeing Alliance

Neurodiversity in the Workplace

This series of workshops introduces practical strategies to support neurodivergent individuals in professional environments. Topics include:

  • Understanding neurodiversity

  • Inclusive communication and workplace adjustments

  • Best practices for supporting neurodivergent employees
