Our Emotional
Wellbeing Programme

Empowering
Young Minds
with Emotional Wellbeing
We are delighted to introduce our Emotional Wellbeing Programme, a comprehensive initiative designed to support the mental health and emotional development of primary school pupils in Essex. We believe that by equipping children with the necessary tools and strategies to manage their emotions, we can empower them to lead happier, healthier lives.

Emotional Wellbeing Programme
(Termly workshops and support)
Our Four-Term Approach
Each term focuses on a key aspect of emotional wellbeing, delivered through interactive workshops and engaging activities:
-
Term 1: Friendships and Resilience
-
Term 2: Understanding Emotions and Healthy Ways to Manage Them
-
Term 3: Moving On, Embracing Change, and New Beginnings
-
Term 4: Friendships, Empathy, Listening, and Anti-Bullying
Our person-centred approach ensures flexibility, allowing us to adapt the content based on the needs of each school.

Wellbeing Ambassador Scheme
(Termly mentoring and support)
A core part of our initiative is the Wellbeing Ambassador Scheme, which empowers pupils to become peer mentors. These student ambassadors are trained to:
-
Promote emotional wellbeing within their school
-
Support classmates with emotional and social challenges
-
Encourage positive mental health discussions in a safe environment
This initiative fosters leadership skills while ensuring that mental wellbeing remains at the heart of the school community.

Holistic Wellbeing Workshops
(1-2 days)
Holistic Happiness: 1-2 Day Wellbeing Workshops
For schools seeking an introduction to emotional wellbeing, we offer our Holistic Happiness: Wellbeing in School and Beyond programme. This 1-2 day workshop provides:
-
Age-appropriate wellbeing sessions for all year groups
-
Practical self-care strategies and emotional regulation techniques
-
Optional sessions for parents and staff to support children's mental wellbeing at home and in school
This flexible option is ideal for schools looking to introduce wellbeing initiatives without committing to a full-term programme.
